If you are presently taking part in other types of Internet marketing but not email marketing you should seriously consider why you are avoiding this particular type of marketing. This is significant because email marketing can be a very important part of an Internet marketing campaign. Numerous business owners avoid email marketing for fear of being accused of spamming. Some Internet marketers may not have a clear understanding of what is spam and what is not so they avoid engagement in email marketing campaigns in order to avoid the potential of being judged a spammer.

Why are Internet marketers so afraid of being charged as being purveyors of spam? There are a number of reasons for this. First of all there are the harsh penalties associated with sending spam emails. Receivers of spam have the option of reporting the spam to their Internet service provider who will look into the validity of the claim. If the originator of the email is determined to be a spammer there can be harsh consequences such as banning the sender from the Internet service provider.

Internet marketers are also afraid of email marketing because they think it will not be well received by potential customers. This is an important concept because Internet users are bombarded with spam every day. Receiving this quantity of spam daily can be frustrating and may irk a few Internet users. These particular Internet users are not likely to be receptive to email marketing. The fear that these possible customers will consider email marketing as spam and stray to competitors keeps several Internet marketers from capitalising on this type of marketing strategy.

Nevertheless, it is important to note that despite the prevailing problem with spam, numerous Internet users are quite receptive to email marketing. This is particularly true in situations where they have specifically requested to receive additional information from the business owner concerning their products and services. Potential customers are particularly receptive to email marketing which furnishes something of value to the receiver of the email. Emails which contain in depth articles, useful tips or product reviews might be appreciated by consumers.

In addition, items such as e-newsletters and correspondence courses offered via email can be of particular interest to potential customers. E-newsletters are generally longer documents than traditional email marketing pieces and can provide a good deal of extra information to the email recipient. Email correspondence courses might be offered in short segments and typically amount to a substantial amount of information which is likely to be greatly appreciated by the email recipients.

One final way to prevent email recipients from viewing your email marketing efforts as spam is to only send out the emails to recipients who register with your website and specifically request for you to send them further information and promotional materials. This opt in method is ideal since it ensures you are not wasting your email marketing efforts on recipients who are not interested in your products or services. It also ensures the recipients of the email marketing campaign do not view the information and promotional materials they are receiving as spam. This method of compiling an email distribution list is rather effective but it is important to remember you should always include information on how recipients can opt out of receiving future emails. This is important because the email recipients may have once been interested in receiving marketing emails but over time this could change. If they are no longer interested in these emails, they might begin to consider the emails as spam if they are not afforded the option of being able to remove themselves from the distribution list.

At present, there are lots of ways that marketers can gain profit from the Internet. With so many business opportunities presented online, a prospective businessman only has to choose the best venture that will suit to his taste and capabilities.

One of the business opportunities that are fast gaining popularity from Internet marketers are private label rights products. Among the numerous products being offered up under private labels, software products are one of those that proliferated.

But first, one should understand the concept of private label rights.

Private label rights enable a reseller to purchase a product not only for selling purposes, but also to do whatever that he wants with it. That is the main distinction of private label rights with resale rights. The latter gives resellers license to sell the product, provided that its contents stay intact. Private label rights give permission to the reseller to apply modifications and changes the product as he sees it fit to make it saleable to a specific market, without being held liable for it.

Under these rights, resellers are specifically allowed to:

-dispense the product to others
-provide a version that is branded, attached with affiliate links
-include the product with other merchandise when packaged
-use it as a bonus giveaway
-utilize product as web site content
-divide it into separate articles (applicable to e-books)
-Sell it through auctions
-modify or change the product

These items can actually serve as a checklist for resellers when it comes to negotiating with product owner when acquiring a material for private label rights.

Materials that are usually offered under private labels are software source codes, e-books, and graphic files.

Each of the products has its advantages and disadvantages when being resold. For source codes, a reseller will have to gain some knowledge so he can compile the source codes into the finished software, especially if it has to be modified according to his specifications. An average reseller will have to employ the services of an expert to do this task, and this will add substantial cost and time. The advantage is, software has a much higher value when it comes to reselling compared to reports and e-books.

In the case of private label software products, the core technology of the product can be created and owned by another person or company, but resellers can place his brand and have the software tailor-made by utilizing layout and color schemes, logos, languages and other options that can be configurated to make the software look like it was created by the reseller. In addition, the reseller can choose the name of the program and company, and the website to be associated with the software.

The makers of the software will offer the reseller full resell rights to the branded version of the product, with the understanding that sales choices will not be interfered upon, and royalties will not be collected, which will enable the reseller to establish his own price for the software and pocket all the profits.

Also, in the deal between the creator of the software and the reseller, a demo version of the product, along with the full version, can be provided. This demo version can be distributed by the reseller without any hindrance. The benefits of having a demo version is that the traffic to the web site of the reseller will increase each time the demo is downloaded.

Usually, there are two levels of private labeling or branding offered for resellers: first is the tests and surveys that the reseller will manage and implement, and second, the technology and application that permits the reseller to author and host the tests and surveys.

When it comes to transferring the ownership of the software, the following may be provided by the software’s creator: documentation of the transaction and a special URL for each software title purchased by the reseller. This URL is provided so that resellers can dispense it to others top verify the ownership of the software.

Software is only one among the many products that can be offered under private labels. A reseller with great marketing savvy can profit greatly from venturing into private label rights product. What they have to do is to choose the right product that they can improve on and market in order for them to rake in the profits.

For years, Internet marketers have asserted that solo ads are simply outmoded – they are a dinosaur that no longer has the potential to reap any profits; however, another group of Internet marketers acknowledges that the exact opposite is the truth: solo ads can reap massive profits, but in order to do so, they must be engineered perfectly, as must the selection of the solo ad distributor.

A solo ad can be a number of things. Usually, it is a large ad between 200 and 300 words that is placed at the very center of a page. The rate on solo ads is higher than on all other potential options, but it also captures readers’ attention the most by far. If you have the money to spend on a solo ad, it can be an excellent investment.

However, as with all investments (and advertisements for that matter), you must conduct your due diligence. This involves a considerable amount of research.
Now, when conducting research for a solo ad, there are two things you will want to look at:

1) The first is a list of your potential advertising outlets (in this case, probably e-zines); and
2) A list of potential approaches you can take on your solo ad.

Let’s start with the first part – finding a list of e-zines in which you can put a solo ad. One place to satrt is with Directory of E-zines, which you can find at the following location:

Directory Of Ezines

This is the ultimate resource for advertisers who want access to all e-zines and also want tips for advertising in them. If you do not have any money to spend, I would suggest starting here instead:

The Ezine Directory

Once you have selected reputable e-zines to advertise in, you will then want to begin creating your solo ad. There are a number of writing “formulas” you can use to do this; however, you will always want to keep in mind what it is that your potential customer wants most.

In advertising, it is often easy to project our own wants in a given product onto potential buyers; however, it is important – when communicating with them – that you talk about their wants, not yours.

Now, when it comes to creating solo ads, you should spend some time learning about what it takes to convert readers into buyers.

Furthermore, you should go beyond simply writing copy and write as you would in the specific medium. For instance, if your solo ad will be featured in an e-zine, then you will want to write as if you are contacting members of a mailing list about a special offer or something similar. You may even want to refer to the owner of the list by his/her first name if they allow that.

Keep all of these skills in mind when conducting solo ad campaigns. All you have to do is select the right advertising mediums and create an excellent ad – and your effort will pay off three fold.

Its Importance and Its Implication in Internet Marketing.

Since the advent of the Internet, business had been good, if not better than before. This is because the Internet provides more viable means of disseminating information about the products and the business all at the same time.

Hence, most businesses know that the proliferation of the online business will definitely boost the income-generating potential of the business.

However, most online entrepreneurs contend that for an online business to generate good income in the Internet, the business must have its own product. This is because everything is a sale, even the thoughts that you have in your mind could count as a product for sale when presented in the Internet for other people’s use.

But contrary to most popular beliefs, having your own product does not limit you to the many possibilities of earning more by using a “license” that is attached with an “information product” that you may acquire online. These are known as private label rights.

Private label rights is just one of the three “basic rights” that are embodied in the concept of resale rights marketing. Among the three, private label rights are considered as the most moneymaking and rewarding.

Private label rights are represented in a certificate or authorization that is attached with an “information item.” The basics of private label rights is to permit people to transform, reorganize, change, or improve the elements of the said merchandise to go well with the buyer’s personal desires and yearnings.

For example, if you have a private label right, you can easily segregate the contents of an ebook, and persuade somebody to buy the contents as sequence of pieces of writing.

One of the best things about private label rights is that you can actually do the same thing inversely. For instance, if you were able to buy a set of information products like a collection of articles embodied with private label rights, you can easily bring them together without the risk of some law-related predicaments. Hence, you can collect different articles from different owners. With a common thought, you can come up with a creative masterpiece.

In addition, with private label rights, you can simply append some information on the said product to make it more meaningful and creative, thus, creating an impression of having a product of your own.

Best of all, you can even put your name as the author of the said work. This is the most gainful aspect of having private label rights. In this way, you do not have to acknowledge the primary author of the work.

So for those who are not yet aware of the rewards of using private label rights, here is a list of some of the advantages:

1. It is just the thing for marking your name and your business’ name.

With private label rights, you can easily acquire informative products that you can use as your own. Hence, this creates an impression that you are making your own product and that you are a professional and a skilled person on the given field.

In turn, you get the trust that you need in order to compel them to buy your product.

2. It triggers creativity.

One of the best things about private label rights is that you can be creative in a thousand and one ways. This is because you can assemble the different elements and come up with a new and near-original work without having any difficulty of creating such product.

3. Develop a product!

With private label rights, you can simply modify or improve a product if ever it does not fit your taste or needs. In this way, you can both cut back wasteful time by looking for products that are totally worthless or save more money by avoiding to create a whole new product.

However, even if some people contend that it is totally unethical for a person to sell the private label rights for his creations, one cannot simply surmise the fact that engaging into this kind of activity is also beneficial to the seller especially if the product is already nearing the closing stages of its “market life.”

This goes to show that people must learn how to give way to any possible changes to any product that might have already lost its income-generating potential. By allowing other people to modify or enhance the features of certain products, the advancement of such products will continue to take place. Hence, the cycle will go on.

Indeed, the basics of private label rights are not just necessary for most of the Internet marketers who wish to earn more income aside from their own products but also for the whole market as well. This is because the whole system of a give and take relationship dwells in the business and that is exactly where income generates its power.

When Internet marketers hear the term, ‘Joint Venture’ they will immediately begin to drool… maybe ever so slightly… but they are certainly drooling.

New marketers dream of getting that first lucrative Joint Venture deal under their belts. Seasoned Internet marketers always have both their ears and eyes wide open seeking their next Joint Venture opportunity.

Everybody wants a Joint Venture for the very simple reason that they are lucrative… and ‘lucrative’ is an understatement.

The first, most important and continuous task of every Internet marketer is to build an opt-in list.

There are basically three forms of lists and all of them are not created equally.

First there are lists that are bought… these are just about worthless.

Second there are lists of potential customers. Potential customer lists are valuable because they are people who have opted in to a mailing list and may well buy something at some point but they have not as yet.

The third kind of list is the ‘paid customers list’. The paid customers list is the one that is very, very, very valuable. This is a list of people who have actually bought a product or service. They have already proven that they will spend money. Most importantly, the paid customer list is one of the factors that potential Joint Venture partners will base their decision of whether to Joint Venture with you or not upon.

In order to build a paid customer list, you may well have to give something away. One of the best ways to build a paid customer list is to offer a product that is relatively inexpensive to Joint Venture partners and allow them to keep all of the profits from the sale. That’s right. Give them 100% of the profit.

What you get is a long paid customer list which will turn out to be a lot more valuable than the $5 or $10 dollars per sale that you would have made. That paid customer list is like your own private gold mine. It can be used to leverage future Joint Venture deals that will add a lot of money to your bottom line.

Another method that can be used to build that valuable paid customer list is to have two membership sites… one free and one paid.

You can then offer Joint Venture partners the opportunity to give away free memberships and an opportunity to gain a commission when anyone that they send the offer of a free membership decides to upgrade to a paid membership. You can structure this offer as a one-time payment for an up-grade or as an ongoing commission on the price of the monthly subscription.

By employing either of the above methods for your first Joint Venture deals you will have built a paid customers list and you will also have managed to create some serious credibility for yourself. Both are assets that are beyond placing a value upon. This is the formula for success:

Whatever method you choose to employ, the bottom line is that what you need the most in order to get a profitable Joint Venture deal is a long paid customer list and some credibility. There are no substitutes for either.

Make no mistake here. Credibility is equally important to a paid customer list. Credibility is achieved by becoming a recognized authority in a niche. The paid customer list adds greatly to your credibility but you need to work hard at building credibility by writing and marketing articles, posting to blogs and forums, etc. Building credibility on the Internet isn’t easy and it takes some time. There aren’t any shortcuts.

With a paid customer list and credibility you will then be in a position to leverage the best and most profitable Joint Venture partnership agreements that are possible. Always remember that adding to your paid customer list is one of the factors that you want to ensure when you enter into any Joint Venture agreement.

Now, armed with a paid customer list and credibility, your next move is to find ways to make your potential Joint Venture partners willing, even eager, to help you. Contrary to what appears to be common sense, your best Joint Venture partners are those who, up to this point, you have considered your main competitors.

If you can come up with a product that will make selling any product easier or explain how customers can get the best use out of the product then you can approach your most fierce competitors and turn them into your most valuable Joint Venture partners. They will eagerly assist you in promoting your new ‘enabler’ product… for a commission, of course.

Additionally, you must always offer generous commissions and ample support to all of your Joint Venture partners. This is never a place to cut corners or get greedy as your credibility is always on the line.

If you have made a name for yourself in your niche (gained credibility) and you have a product that Joint Venture partners know will make them look good to their lists (even your most fierce competitors), there is no limit to the help they will be willing to provide for you as a Joint Venture partner

When you are considering starting an online company, you want to make certain you find the right product. What do you want to sell? What is your passion? What subject or topic do you have a lot of knowledge about? Let me start by telling you that selling an information product online is easier than selling a service. But, selling a service online makes more money with monthly memberships.

Before you spend all your time working on a website and writing up eBooks, you need to be sure that your customers are going to be interested in what you are selling. Do your market research. Start by ascertaining how many competitors you have -this is a good sign. Read through newsgroups, discussion boards, and chat rooms and learn about your target market customer base. If you already have an email list, send them a survey to see what they are most interested in.

Most internet marketers preach that there are three reasons why a customer will want to buy your product. Your product has solved a problem for your customer. Your product has made life easier or more comfortable for your customer. You are very passionate about your product and it shows in everything you do.

When researching your niche, you may want to use something like www.Amazon.com to discover the current top sellers. Ascertain what people are reading about. You will want to research keywords with keyword tools such as www.wordtracker.com. You need to discover which keywords are being searched for frequently.

Doing a little digging around your competitors sites isn’t a bad idea either. This is one way that you can come up with ideas on what would make your company different or better. Take a look at their traffic rankings and their related links. By examining this information, you can see how many visitors they have each day and how profitable their company is.

Once you find your passion, ask yourself does this serve my customers. You want to provide an excellent service to each and every person that spends their money with you. This cuts down on complaints, bad reputations, and, worse of all, chargeback’s.

Email marketing is not just all about unsolicited emails with advertisements making outrageous claims. Unfortunately the abundance of spam which inundates Internet users each day has caused many to formulate a negative opinion about email marketing but savvy Internet marketers who understand how to market successful enjoy an advantage over the competition by turning to e-newsletters to reach more potential customers.

An e-newsletter is very similar to newsletters which are printed and distributed via mail or other avenues. The most significant distance is the method of distribution. While traditional newsletters are typically mailed to the recipients or distributed in person, e-newsletters are distributed exclusively online. These e-newsletters may be either emailed in the body of an email message or may be included as a link in an email which directs the recipient to the website for the e-newsletter. In either case the recipient can read the e-newsletter while online and print it out or save it to their hard drive for future use.

The contents of an e-newsletter may vary somewhat drastically depending on the business the e-newsletter is promoting, the purpose of the e-newsletter and even the personal preferences of the business owner and the employees producing the e-newsletter. However, the general format for an e-newsletter is to include useful information in the form of full length feature articles or shorter pieces offering useful tips. The e-newsletter should also contain at least some subtle advertising for the products and services offered by the producer of the e-newsletter. These pieces of advertising should not be blatant and should allow readers of the e-newsletter to formulate their own opinions regarding the products or services.

The content of an e-newsletter should make up the bulk of the document. This may include full length feature articles which provide information for the readers. It may also include shorter pieces which may offer tips, review products or offer advice to the reader. The key to providing high quality content in these e-newsletters is to have them written by a capable writer who is knowledgeable about the subject matter. The writer may have an understanding of the subject matter or may simply be able to research the subject and learn enough to write accurate and informative articles on the topic. In either case the distributor of the e-newsletter should carefully review the content for both quality and accuracy before publishing the e-newsletter.

Distributors of e-newsletters should also consider including graphical elements into their e-newsletters. This may include product pictures or any other relevant graphics which provide meaning to the text of the e-newsletter. A graphic designer can assist you with this endeavor by helping you to create graphics, crop them appropriately and place them in a prime location on the layout of the e-newsletter.

Finally, distributors of e-newsletters should carefully consider their audience before using email for marketing purposes. The primary consideration should be whether or not the target audience is likely to be receptive to marketing in the form of emails or an e-newsletter. If they are likely to respond to this type of marketing it is worthwhile to pursue an email marketing campaign. However, care should be taken to ensure the emails sent to the target audience are designed specifically to appeal to these potential customers. This type of specialization should include the type of language used in the copy, the layout of the email or e-newsletter and the graphics used in the email or e-newsletter. Additionally, the copy should be filed with information which will be useful to the recipients. Another factor to consider is to whom to send the emails. Sending these emails to a large group of recipients who have not requested information from you and have no interest in your products and services is a waste of time. It is a better idea to ask customers and potential customers if they are interested in receiving more information and having them join an email distribution list if they wish to receive more information. Sending your emails to this distribution list ensures the majority of recipients will have an interest in your products or services and are not likely to automatically delete your emails as spam.

Let me ask you a question.

How do I compete with other Resellers who own the same product?

A lot of people avoid resell rights products simply because they believe that they are unable to compete with other resellers who are selling the same product, or they feel the market for that product may be flooded due to the fact that there are a great number of other resellers.

However, if you really think about it, most people purchase resell rights, and have no intention of reselling the product – they simply wanted the product. Others purchase resell rights to sell the product, but honestly do not know how, or don’t use very effective marketing techniques. In fact, 90% of the people who hold the same resell rights that you hold are doing it wrong.

You must also consider the market. While it is harder to sell Internet Marketing related products, selling non-Internet Marketing products is easier than you think. The reason it is harder to sell Internet Marketing products is because most of the other resellers will in fact be Internet Marketers who do know what they are doing.

First, you must increase your marketing efforts. By doing more, you will put yourself well ahead of the 10% that are actually marketing the product correctly. Find new markets for the product and new ways to reach those markets. Consider holding teleseminars or joint venturing with other marketers who have large subscriber lists.

Next, make your package more attractive than other peoples. You will, typically, not have the right to change the product, but that does not mean you can’t change the offer. Use other products as bonuses, as long as you have the right to give those products away. Beef up your package, and you will pull ahead of the competition quickly. Also, change your sales letter. Do not use the same sales letter that other resellers are using. Make yours unique.

If you follow the above tips you will certainly see an increase in your sales over that of your competion.

Online courses, or email courses are becoming an increasingly popular way for savvy Internet marketers to promote their products and services. Online courses or email courses essentially include short online presentations or emails which include insightful information on a particular niche subject. These courses are usually offered in multiple, short segments to keep the students interested in the topic. This type of advertising serves a useful purpose and many of the participants do not even realize they are being subjected to a marketing campaign.

The creation of an online course should begin with a solid idea for a series of educational articles which pertain to your business and will be of interest to your potential customers. Educational email courses can sometimes be sold for profit themselves but if you are interested in using the courses as marketing tools you will most likely be offering these courses free of charge in an effort to entice potential customers to purchase your products or services.

Determining the topic of your courses is very important because it can dictate the success of your marketing effort. Consider an online retailer of running shoes. This business owner may want to develop a series of email courses on subjects such as training for a marathon, preventing injuries, increasing speed and running for fun. Each of these courses may contain a few segments which offer different perspectives on the subject. These courses are ideal for this business because they are subjects which are likely to be of interest to the customers of the business. Likewise a real estate agent may opt to offer email courses on subjects such as understanding mortgage options, finding a lender or house hunting. Again these are all subjects which are likely to be of interest to the real estate agents clients.

The distribution list for your online or email courses should mostly include members of your target audience. This can be achieved by either offering the course as a download online where only interested Internet users will partake in the course or only emailing the course to recipients who have specifically expressed an interest in receiving more information about your products and services and have submitted their email address for this purpose.

Once you decide on a subject for your online or email course, seek out a qualified writer to create the content for your online or email course. This will help to give your copy a more professional appearance. The writer can assist you by creating copy which is informative and useful to your readers but is also well written, clear, concise and easy to understand. If your niche topic is highly specialized you might have to provide the writer with product information as well as research materials to ensure the content is informative and accurate. Additionally, you should review the content once it is completed to verify the accuracy.

When distributing your email course or launching your online course, it is helpful to request feedback from the users as the conclusion of the course. This is completely voluntary but when users respond they can provide you with useful feedback which will be extremely helpful if you intend to launch a similar marketing campaign in the future.
If you’ve ever dealt with an online company or subscribed to an ezine or other service on the Internet before, you’ve more than likely received an email from an autoresponder. Although you may not have realized it at the time, it was probably an email letting you know that the individual you were trying to reach isn’t available. Even though it appears that someone else sent the message, it was indeed sent from an autoresponder.

Although autoresponders are great for letting others know that you are away, they are even more valuable when used as a marketing tool. If you’ve thought about selling products or services online or if you already own your own company, you could greatly benefit from autoresponders. In the world of Internet marketing – few tools and programs can compete with an autoresponder.

As many Internet marketers already know, autoresponders are a great way to put your business on autopilot and multiply yourself. With an autoresponder, simply set up your preset messages, and select the schedule that each individual message will go out. When messages go out is entirely up to you, you can send them out on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis. You can also use as many messages as you want, and know without a shadow of a doubt that they will go out to those on your customer list when they are supposed to.

Best of all, you don’t even have to touch it. This will save you a lot of time, as your autoresponder will handle virtually all of your email tasks. It will follow up with your customers as well, saving you a lot of time there. If you had to follow up with each and every one of your customers yourself, it could cost a lot of time that you could easily be using for other things – even spending time with your family.

Even if your business doesn’t have a lot of site visitors now, an autoresponder can still help you out. Even though you may not think so, it can do a world of wonders. No matter how many visitors you have, you should always strive to capture all the opt-ins that you can. The best way to do this is by providing high quality products and services that will keep your visitors intrigued. If you keep them intrigued, they will gladly sign up to your list with their email address and their name, so that you can contact them with future offers. Even though may be starting out small, your opt-in list can get really big before you know it.

Once your list has grown, it will easily become one of the most valued assets of your entire company. In order for your list to grow, you’ll need to answer emails about your products, services, company, and what you can do for your customers. You don’t need to spend all day doing this anymore, as you can leave everything to your autoresponder. Your autoresponder can answer all of your email questions and give customers what they want – which will help your company grow.

Almost all autoresponders will enable you to send broadcast messages to your entire client list among other things. They will also let you stay in touch with your customers and establish relationships that will keep your customers coming back. No matter how big or how small your company may be – an autoresponder is one investment that you is more than worth your money.
